Bio
I am a patent examiner with a background in biomedical engineering and medical physics, and more than two decades experience in examining patent applications in the field of medical technology. My professional activities are focussed carrying out on patent examination from the search to the post-grant stage, and creating and maintaining the patent classification systems.
Outside my professional commitments, I pursue independent research and development projects, wherein my interests are broad and interdisciplinary in nature, spanning technology, innovation and intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on medical devices, and patent information and data.
When I am not doing all the above, I run long and ultra-long distances on trails, and explore the great outdoors.
